Easter Sunday is coming! We can’t think of a better time to celebrate the Resurrection of our King Jesus, who defeated the power of Sin and Death! Even though we are ‘socially distanced,’ we are providing ways to engage, reflect, and celebrate together!
Here’s what Calvary Restoration is doing this week:
Good Friday: Video Worship Guide. Matt Whitacre and Isaac Mahoney are putting together a Good Friday video with Worship music and Scripture readings. We’ll send out the Youtube link once it’s finished. Please watch this with your household on Friday evening. Worship, reflect, and pray on this important day.
Easter Sunday: Live Online Zoom Service (10am). We’re having our Sunday Worship Service online, through the program “Zoom.” Zoom will allow us to see one another live and worship Jesus together. We will share in songs, communion, a powerful sermon, and testimonies of “how Jesus changed my life”. Please join our Easter celebration of the Resurrection!
Kids Videos. Amarie Hill is recording daily Bible lesson videos, walking kids through what Jesus did each day leading up to Easter Sunday. Each video has a Bible story, with application for kids and coloring ideas. Thank you, Amarie! These have been posted on our internal facebook page. If you are not in our Facebook group and would like to watch them, please e-mail (isaac@thecalvary.org) to request access.
